About Us
Our Story
Our Founder, Mrs. Shasha Evelyn Ndimbie, was a descendant of the Wimbum tribe, a people located in the city of Ndu which is embedded in the far North-West region of Cameroon. Mrs. Shasha Evelyn Ndimbie was a top-notch news anchor and editor-in-chief at the Cameroon Radio and Television (CRTV) who spent most of her life acquiring knowledge as she read all genres of books and was known for her high intellect and ability to participate on every educational platform.
At just the age of nineteen, she earned a Master’s degree in Communications at Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey but despite pursuing her studies abroad, she returned to Africa where she knew she would have more impact on her people. She was very rooted in African customs and traditions.
Mrs. Shasha Evelyn Ndimbie invested most of her time in giving back to her local community but even moreso, she enjoyed coaching, supporting, and encouraging the next generation of young Africans who often sought her financial support and mentorship as they weaved their way to achieving their academic and career goals.
Her work and legacy paved the way for the birth of TSENA! She inspired us. Now, we aim to continue the work she started.

Our Vision
To use The Shasha Evelyn Ndimbie Award (TSENA) as a conduit to give back to the community and the world around us through the field of mainstream education and vocational training.
To create a world where every talented and determined student has access to higher education regardless of their financial circumstances.
To empower individuals to achieve their full potential and contribute meaningfully to society.

Our Mission
To identify, support, and invest in high-achieving African students from diverse backgrounds through merit-based scholarships, mentorship, and educational resources.
We are committed to breaking down financial barriers
