Application Requirements for all TSENA Applicants
Application Form
– Applicants must be citizens or legal residents of an African country.
Proof of Identity
– Passport or National ID: A valid government-issued identification document to confirm your identity.
Academic Transcripts and Certificates
– High School Transcripts: Transcript records (or equivalent) showing the courses taken and grades received.
– Graduation Certificates: Proof of completion of secondary school or any previous educational programs.
Language Proficiency Tests
– Applicants need to demonstrate proficiency in English and/or French. Fluency in both languages is a plus.
Recommendation Letters
– Academic References: These letters should come from teachers, counselors, or mentors who can speak to your academic or technical abilities, character, and potential.
– Professional References: A reference from an employer or apprenticeship mentor might be required to verify your work ethic, skills, and industry knowledge.
Statement of Purpose or Personal Statement
– Essay/Personal Statement: A written statement explaining why you want to study at the institution, your career goals, and why you chose a specific program or field of study.
– Motivation Letter: Explain your reasons for applying to that particular vocational school or academic program and how it aligns with your career aspirations.
Resume/Curriculum Vitae (CV)
– For Vocational Schools: A CV detailing any previous work experience, internships, apprenticeships, or volunteer work related to the field you’re applying for.
– For Academic Institutions: A CV is required to outline your academic achievements, extracurricular activities, and any relevant experiences (such as research or special projects).
